Effective August 2026

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern pet waste removal services provided by Yard Response Unit (“Yard Response Unit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing, scheduling, or receiving services, the customer (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledges and agrees to these Terms.

1. Services

Yard Response Unit provides professional pet waste removal services for residential and other approved properties. Depending on the plan purchased, service may be provided weekly, biweekly, monthly, or according to another schedule specifically agreed to by Yard Response Unit.

Our standard service includes locating and removing reasonably visible and accessible pet waste from the designated service area, securely bagging the collected waste, and removing the collected pet waste from the property.

2. Hours of Operation & Schedule Changes

Current regular service hours: Saturday & Sunday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

The Customer understands and agrees that operating days and hours may change as the business grows. Yard Response Unit may expand, modify, or transition regular service to include Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or other reasonable service windows.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify affected customers of significant permanent schedule changes. Purchasing recurring service does not guarantee a specific arrival time. Routes and arrival times may vary because of route optimization, traffic, weather, holidays, staffing, demand, emergencies, or other operational circumstances.

3. Authorization to Enter the Property

By purchasing or scheduling service, the Customer expressly authorizes Yard Response Unit and its authorized personnel or contractors to enter the outdoor portions of the property reasonably necessary to perform the requested service during the applicable service window.

Unless the Customer provides different instructions, our normal entry point will be the primary exterior gate providing access to the serviced yard. The Customer understands that service is designed to be completed without requiring the Customer to be home.

This authorization does not permit Yard Response Unit to enter the interior of the Customer’s residence.

4. Gate & Property Access

The Customer is responsible for ensuring the designated service area is safely and reasonably accessible on the scheduled service day. Gates must be unlocked or otherwise accessible during the service window.

If we cannot access the yard, we may knock at the front door and/or attempt to contact the Customer by phone, text, or email using the information provided to us. Our personnel will not climb fences, force gates, break locks, enter through unsafe areas, or defeat a secured entrance.

If reasonable access cannot be obtained, the visit may be classified as an Unable-to-Access Visit. Because route time and travel were reserved for the Customer, the visit may not be eligible for a refund or credit, subject to applicable law.

5. Pet Safety

Customers must disclose animals that may display aggressive, territorial, unpredictable, or dangerous behavior. Yard Response Unit may require pets to remain indoors or securely separated from our personnel while service is performed.

If our personnel reasonably believe an animal presents a safety risk, we may decline to enter the property or discontinue the visit. The Customer remains responsible for appropriately securing and controlling animals on the property.

6. Yard Conditions & Customer Responsibilities

The Customer agrees to maintain the service area in a condition that allows pet waste to be reasonably identified and safely collected. Tall grass, standing water, heavy leaves, excessive debris, construction materials, inaccessible landscaping, or similar conditions may prevent complete removal.

Customers should disclose or correct potentially hazardous conditions, including exposed wiring, holes, unstable structures, sharp objects, chemicals, pesticides, irrigation hazards, or other conditions that may endanger personnel.

7. Weather, Emergencies & Unsafe Conditions

Service may be delayed, rescheduled, shortened, or canceled because of lightning, thunderstorms, hurricanes or tropical weather, flooding, extreme heat, unsafe property conditions, government warnings, emergencies, or other conditions that could reasonably endanger our personnel.

8. Service Frequency

The Customer is responsible for selecting the service frequency appropriate for the property. Weekly, biweekly, and monthly describe the normal intended visitation schedule and do not guarantee that visits will occur at the exact same time or the exact same number of calendar days apart.

9. Recurring Billing & Subscriptions

Recurring plans are billed automatically using the payment method provided during checkout. The applicable monthly price is displayed before purchase.

By purchasing a recurring plan, the Customer authorizes the selected monthly charge to continue until the subscription is canceled. Visit frequency is based on the selected service plan, while billing occurs monthly.

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Yard Response Unit does not require customers to provide full payment-card details directly to our personnel.

10. Cancellation & Changes

Customers may request cancellation or service changes by contacting Yard Response Unit at yardresponseunit@gmail.com. We will process requests in accordance with applicable law and the terms presented at checkout.

Cancellation stops future service and future recurring charges after the cancellation becomes effective. Amounts already earned for completed service generally are not refundable. Nothing in these Terms limits a cancellation or refund right that cannot legally be waived.

11. Failed Payments

If a payment is declined, reversed, disputed, or otherwise unsuccessful, Yard Response Unit may suspend future service until the account is brought current. Repeated failed payments may result in termination of service.

12. Missed or Skipped Service

If we cannot perform service because of circumstances within our control, we may reschedule the visit or provide an appropriate account adjustment when warranted. If service cannot be completed because of inaccessible gates, unsecured animals, unsafe property conditions, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control, the visit may not qualify for a refund.

13. Holidays & Route Changes

Schedules may be modified around holidays, severe weather, emergencies, unusually high demand, route changes, or other operational needs. Recurring service provides an intended service frequency rather than a guaranteed exact arrival time.

14. Waste Removal

Unless specifically stated otherwise for a service, pet waste collected during a visit will be bagged and removed from the Customer’s property by Yard Response Unit.

15. Pre-Existing Property Conditions

Yard Response Unit is not responsible for property conditions or damage that existed before our arrival. Customers should notify us of fragile gates, broken latches, damaged fences, irrigation equipment, landscaping concerns, or other unusual property conditions before service.

16. Limitation of Responsibility

Yard Response Unit will use reasonable care while providing service. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Yard Response Unit will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

17. Customer Information

The Customer agrees to provide accurate contact information, service address, access instructions, pet information, and other information reasonably necessary to safely perform the service. The Customer is responsible for notifying us when this information changes.

18. Photos & Service Documentation

Yard Response Unit may photograph outdoor service areas when reasonably necessary to document completed service, inaccessible gates, unsafe conditions, property conditions, or customer-service issues. We do not intentionally photograph through residence windows or enter a residence for documentation purposes.

19. Right to Refuse, Suspend or Terminate Service

We may refuse, suspend, or terminate service when reasonably necessary because of unsafe property conditions, aggressive animals, repeated inability to access the property, nonpayment, fraud or chargeback abuse, harassment or threats, requests for unsafe or unlawful activity, or property conditions materially different from those represented when service was purchased.

20. Changes to Services or Terms

Yard Response Unit may modify operating procedures, routes, service windows, available plans, or these Terms as the business evolves. Material changes affecting an existing recurring subscription will be communicated when required by applicable law.

21. Customer Acknowledgment

By purchasing or continuing to use Yard Response Unit services, the Customer acknowledges that they authorize Yard Response Unit personnel to enter the designated outdoor service area during the applicable service window for pet waste removal.

The Customer also acknowledges that current regular service is primarily performed Saturday and Sunday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and that operating days may later change or expand, including to Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

22. Governing Law & Contact

These Terms are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Florida. Questions, cancellation requests, access instructions, or concerns may be sent to yardresponseunit@gmail.com.
